PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Troy tied a program record, shooting 24-under par in a dominant 22-shot victory at the Golfweek/AGT Intercollegiate, which wrapped played Wednesday at the True Blue Course at the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort.
The victory was the first of the season for the Trojans and gave head coach Forrest Schultz's squad a team exemption into the prestigious 2024 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational. The 24-under par matches last year's tally at the Bash at the Beach, on a par-71 course, while the 840 at the Golfweek ranks as the program's best on a par-72 course by seven shots.
