FRANKLIN, Tennessee – Jared Bettcher fired a 4-under 68 and Calum Masters carded a 3-under 69 to lead a resurgent Troy men's golf team on day two of the NCAA Franklin Regional. The Trojans shot 5-under as a team in Tuesday's round at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, which was a 22-shot improvement from their first round.
Bettcher and Masters both made the turn at 1-under with two birdies and a bogey on the back nine as the Trojans opened the day on No. 10. After a bogey on No. 16, Bettcher birdied four of his next six holes to move to 4-under on the day.
