TROY, Ala. – First-year Troy men's golf coach Forrest Schultz set an expectation of par for every round his team took the course. His team responded during five fall tournaments, and the Trojans look to continue their upward trajectory as they open the spring schedule this weekend at the Savannah Harbor Invite at the 6,750-yard Crosswinds Golf Club.
The Trojans posted a 40-36-1 head-to-head record in the fall, which already represents a nine-win improvement from last year's overall head-to-head mark. Additionally, the Trojans posted five rounds under par as a team; Troy had four combined team rounds in the red the last three seasons.
