TROY, Alabama – The defending Sun Belt Conference champion Troy men's golf team opens its 2016-17 season at The Invitational at The Ocean Course hosted by College of Charleston at the Kiawah Island Resort. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and will finish with 18 holes on Tuesday.
The Trojans return their entire lineup from last year's squad that won the Sun Belt Conference title and advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the second straight year. Troy won a pair of tournament titles during the regular season last year, including knocking off No. 5 Auburn at the Tiger Invitational.
