FRANKLIN, Tennessee – Paced by under-par rounds from Jared Bettcher and Clayton Vannoy, the Troy men's golf team climbed two spots into 11th place in Wednesday's final round of the NCAA Franklin Regional at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The Trojans shot even par on the day and finished the three-round event at 12-over par after shooting 5-under over the final two rounds. Troy will return its entire lineup next season as the Sun Belt Champions featured four juniors and a freshman.
Bettcher, who tied for 33rd place, led the Trojans on the day with a 2-under 70 and overall with a 1-under 215 for the tournament.
