Troy, Ala. – Troy men's basketball has received a signed National Letter of Intent from high school senior Jakevan Leftridge as announced by first-year head coach Scott Cross on Tuesday morning.
Leftridge comes from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Dallas, Texas and is the first high school signee in the Scott Cross era at Troy.
"We are extremely excited about the addition of Jakevan Leftridge to our basketball team," Cross said. "He is a 6-foot-6, long, athletic wing that can defend and score at all three levels. His length helps him get deflections on defense, but his passing ability is probably the thing that impresses me the most about him.
