TROY — The message was predictable, though it arrived via text from Troy linebacker Carlton Martial’s mom.
With the Trojans playing their next game at South Alabama, Martial has a long wish list to fill with family, friends and longtime supporters ready to cheer him.
Martial is from Mobile, so he’ll be returning home when Troy (5-2, 3-0 Sun Belt) faces the Jaguars (2-5, 1-2). Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Oct. 23.
