CONWAY, S.C. – Sophomore Jessica LoPresti posted a career-high seven kills as Troy fell to Coastal Carolina 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-16) in the series opener Thursday morning at the HTC Center. The Trojans (4-2, 4-2 Sun Belt) were unable to get in a rhythm offensively as the Chanticleers (7-0, 7-0 Sun Belt) held Troy to .058 hitting on the match.
LoPresti's career-best seven kills came on .400 hitting, while Alison Siersma tied her career high of eight kills for the second time this season. Halston Hillier and Julia Brooks added seven and five kills, respectively, and Tabitha Wheeler notched three kills in her Trojan debut.
