MOBILE — Sawyer Smith accounted for four touchdowns, Damion Willis flirted with a career high, and B.J. Smith again hit triple figures, leading Troy to a 38-17 win over South Alabama on Tuesday.
B.J. Smith ran 22 times for a career-high 170 yards and a touchdown, marking his fourth straight game with at least 100 yards rushing.
He's just the second player in school history to reach triple-figure rushing in four straight games. Arrid Gregory did it in 1996.
Willis caught five passes for 132 yards, 3 yards shy of a career high, for two scores.
