TROY, Alabama – Troy's Leah Brundidge was named one of five Sun Belt Conference Postgraduate Scholarship recipients, while Ashley Beverly Kelley was named to the Sun Belt Conference Leadership Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning.
Brundidge is on track to graduate with honors this summer with her bachelor's degree in sport and fitness management. A four-year letterwinner for the Troy softball team, Brundidge will begin graduate school at Troy in pursuit of her Master's in Business Administration this upcoming fall with aspirations of working in collegiate athletics.
Brundidge appeared in over 100 games during her Trojan career and made an even bigger impact off the field as she volunteered countless number of hours to the Troy community.
