BATON ROUGE, La. -- The Troy University Trojans behind a three-goal outburst in the second-half defeated Southern University 3-1 at Jaguar Park Friday evening.
After not finding the back of the net in the first-half, the Trojans (4-1-2) attack came to life, scoring three times in a 20-minute span.
Making her second consecutive start, sophomore Noelle Golden scored her first career-goal in the 56th minute to give the road team the lead.
After the Jaguars (0-4) tied the match in the 69th minute, Troy quickly responded behind a strike from Kate Lorenz in the 76th minute.
