The longtime Troy football assistant coach has officially accepted an opportunity to become South Alabama’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, the school announced Monday. Edenfield joins head coach Steve Campbell and defensive coordinator Greg Stewart – his teammates at Troy in the late 1980s – at the Mobile school.
“For me personally, it was a tough decision,” said Edenfield, who has coached at his alma mater for the last decade.
