As cornerback Kamryn Melton celebrated on the field following the Trojans emotional 28-24 win over Appalachian State on Saturday in a battle of Sun Belt heavyweights, he was asked if he believes the team should be ranked nationally.
“Yes,” the Dothan native Melton said with a wide smile showing on his face. “Rank Troy. Rank us. We deserve it.”
