Troy's 11-2 start matches the program's best 13-game start set in 2012 where the Trojans opened up at 11-2 and later bolstered the historic opening to 15-3.
The Trojans' shutout victory over North Carolina (5-2) marked the first time Troy has shutout a Power Five opponent since February 27, 2008 where Troy downed Florida State, 3-0.
