TROY, Ala. – Troy junior Ja'Mia Hollings has been named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week after posting a pair of double-doubles last week in guiding the Trojans back to the top of the league standings.
Hollings, a native of West Point, Miss., also made Troy history becoming just the second Trojan in the program's DI history to score 20-plus points and pull down 20-plus rebounds in a game. She scored 23 points and grabbed 20 rebounds in Troy's seventh straight win over rival South Alabama and followed with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 23-point victory over Georgia Southern.
