TROY — With 22 wins over the last two years immediately behind him and campus construction going on nearby, Troy coach Neal Brown touted the 14 players the Trojans signed Wednesday.

The group includes four offensive linemen, including Stanhope Elmore’s Jake Andrews, and five defensive linemen, including Park Crossing graduate John Hines.

There were also signees to fill immediate gaps, such as junior college running back Kevin Perkins and high school quarterback, Gunnar Watson from Georgia, who could immediately contend to be Troy’s starter, Brown said.
