TROY, Ala. – Troy's offense ignited scoring 21 total runs en route to a pair of wins over Western Carolina, 9-1, and Mercer, 12-4, in the opening day of the Troy Invitational Friday at the Troy Softball Complex.
The Trojans (6-1) plated 21 runs in the opening day of the Troy Invitational, marking the most runs scored in a single day since the Trojans scored 28 runs in a doubleheader against Appalachian State on April 6, 2018.
