TROY, Ala. – After leading Troy to a sweep over Appalachian State, Kelly Horne has been tabbed the Sun Belt Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
This marks the second time this season that Horne has picked up a Sun Belt weekly award.
"I am super proud of Kelly for receiving this honor," co-interim head coach Taylor Smartt said. "She has done a great job not only leading the top of our lineup, but she also is an incredible leader for our team off the field. Kelly is a great example of hard work paying off.
