NEW ORLEANS — Troy senior Wesley Person's career came to a sad end Friday, but Person's career stands among the school's all-time best.
Person scored 14 points in the Trojans' 73-51 loss to Georgia State in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinals Friday at Lakefront Arena.
The Brantley native finished with 2,046 career points, which ranks first in Troy history.
He averaged 15.9 points per game through his four-year, 129-game career.
On Friday, Person was 2-of-6 from the field and 8-of-9 on free throws for the Trojans (16-17).
Junior Jordon Varnado's 15 points led Troy, which shot 31 percent.
