Troy kicker Bratcher Underwood says a bit of game experience last year will help as he competes for the kickoff duties.
Underwood unleashed a kickoff to the goal line in front of 77,157 fans – most of them rabid Badger supporters – in the only start of his career. He made two kickoffs – both to the goal line – that day, and if things progress well, he will be making quite a few more in 2016.
“It’s definitely comforting knowing I’m the No. 1 heading into camp this year, but it definitely puts a lot of pressure on me to perform – unlike the last two years sitting behind Jed (Solomon) and Ryan (Kay),” the redshirt sophomore said.
