GREENSBORO, Ga. – Brent Hamm became Troy's first individual medalist winner since the 2012-13 season as he fired a 7-under 65 in Tuesday's final round of the National Intercollegiate at the National Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee to move into a tie for first at the top of the leaderboard.
Hamm carded a pair of eagles – both on par-5 holes – and six birdies to erase a six-shot deficit that he faced heading into the final round. Hamm was in the clubhouse tied with UT Martin's Nick Wolf, the nation's 100th-ranked player, while he still had four holes to play.
