BYDGOSZCZ, Poland – Troy track and field athlete Hakim Montgomery and Team USA took gold in the 4x100-meter relays at the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland on Saturday.
"Hakim put a lot of time and effort into his part of a gold medal winning performance at the World Championships," Marc Davis said. "He's worked hard all year and never complained. He just dreamed of getting better, and it showed based on the fact that he ran two events at the IAAF World U20 Championships. Not too many athletes in the country can say they've achieved that.
