TROY, Ala. – Both Garrett Gainous and Easton Kirk took home Sun Belt weekly awards for their dominating performances over the weekend. Gainous earns his second pitcher of the week honor, while Kirk receives his first Sun Belt player of the week award.
"Garrett was lights out with his command and was incredibly efficient with his pitches the other night," head coach Skylar Meade said. "I am really proud of his focus all Friday night. Kirk had great at-bats all week, and truly he has all year.
