TROY — The moves in Troy’s locker room always draw laughs, though Junior Gnonkonde’s dancing isn’t for that purpose.
It just has that effect.
Barely a month after joining the Trojans, the defensive end has ingratiated himself with his teammates, from his own smiles and attitude to the way he plays on the field.
Dancing? Not so much.
“Junior is a funny dude, man,” said quarterback Brandon Silvers, the unlucky soul with the locker next to Gnonkonde. That puts Silvers within range of Gnonkonde’s dance moves.
“Sometimes, I may get mad at him when he is trying to dance,” Silvers said.
