NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Troy Trojans freshman Taytum Terrell was named the Sun Belt Soccer Player of the Week the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Making her first career Troy start, Terrell recorded a hat trick in Sunday's 7-1 victory over ULM in just 61 minutes of action.
"It's a great accolade for a player recovering from an injury. It's a testament to the rest of the players around who each contributed to our success this weekend. We're very proud of Taytum!"
The goals were Terrell's first three career goals and were scored just 20-minutes apart.
