Former Troy standout Brynden Trawick has been selected for the Pro Bowl as the special-teamer on the AFC squad.
Trawick is replacing Matthew Slater of the New England Patriots. With the Patriots advancing to the Super Bowl, Slater won't be able to play in Sunday's all-star game.
In his fifth NFL season and his first with the Tennessee Titans, Trawick was on the field for more special-teams plays than any other player in the league in 2017. While he played only four snaps at safety for the Titans, he had 399 special-teams plays.
