EUGENE, Oregon – Former Troy track and field standout Tawanna Meadows competed in the US Olympic Trails in the 100 meters competition on Saturday and Sunday at Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.
Meadows qualified for the semi-final 100 meter race with a 12th place finish and a time of 11.13. She finished second in her heat.
In the semi-finals, which were on Sunday, she finished sixth in her heat with an 11.20 time. She placed 18th and only the top two from each heat and the next two fastest qualified for the finals.
