At least 22 players from Alabama high schools and colleges are at NFL rookie minicamps on a tryout basis this weekend.
Twenty-three NFL teams started their weekend minicamps for rookies on Friday. The other nine NFL teams held their rookie minicamps last weekend.
The rosters at the rookie minicamps include draft picks, undrafted signees, tryout players and players with less than one vested season of NFL experience.
Like draft picks, undrafted signees have a contract and will stay with the team when rookie minicamp ends. Tryout players don't have a contract and will stay with the team after rookie minicamp only if they're signed.
