Kate Benton was a junior college All-American before transferring to Troy before the start of last season.
“The top of the lineup is always a pressure position, but I thrive. I love being at the top,” former Northview star Kate Benton said. “It’s just something I’ve done my whole life so it kinda feels like home. It’s like a comfort zone when I’m at the top of the lineup.”
The expectations do not bother Benton for a couple of more reasons. First, Benton said head coach Beth Mullins has the players setting lofty goals themselves – especially after Troy had a successful first season under Mullins’ tutelage.
