Former Enterprise High standout Marcus Jones, a member of Troy’s football team the last two years, announced he plans to transfer to the University of Houston.
Jones, an All-Sun Belt Conference first team selection as a kicker return specialist and a second team All-Sun Belt at defensive back, entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month.
The 2017 Enterprise High graduate announced his plans to attend Houston on his twitter page Saturday morning.
“First off, I would like to thank God for allowing me to play football at the collegiate level,” Jones said. “I also would like to give a big thanks to the fans and coaching staff for a great two years at Troy University.
