Former Brantley QB Free commits to Troy

Former Brantley star quarterback Jacob Free announced via his Twitter account Tuesday that he has committed to play for the Troy Trojans beginning in the 2019 season.

Free threw for 2,172 yards and 31 touchdowns in his senior season as a Bulldog before signing with Vanderbilt in 2017. He redshirted in 2017 and transferred to Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he will play this season, according to multiple reports.
