TROY, Alabama – Troy football begins its second season under head coach Neal Brown when the Trojans play host to Austin Peay in Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. and gates will open at 3:30 p.m.
The Trojans enter the 2016 season looking to build on a successful second half of last season that saw a resurgent Troy offense match up with one of the most improved defensive units in the country.
Austin Peay is coming off an 0-12 season and will be under the direction of first-year head coach Will Healy, who was a highly regarded assistant coach at UT Chattanooga.
