TROY, Ala. – Troy was back in pads on Monday for the first time since Saturday's opening scrimmage of camp. The Trojans hit the practice fields behind Trojan Arena for two hours in the morning heat and head coach Neal Brown was not pleased with his team's effort on both sides of the football.
"We had a medium-type practice today and today wasn't very good," Brown said. "I thought we were average on defense. If we are average on defense, we're going to really struggle early in the year.
