TROY, Ala. – Troy football head coach Chip Lindsey announced Friday the newest member of the Trojans' signing class with the addition of Clayton Ollendieck from Iowa Central Community College.
A 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end, Ollendieck caught 11 passes for 98 yards and four touchdowns in Iowa Central's abbreviated seven-game schedule this spring. The Cresco, Iowa native put on a show against Ellsworth Community College with six catches for 75 yards, and he found the end zone three times in the game.
"Starting last fall and into the spring, we've tried to incorporate our tight ends into our offensive scheme a little more," Lindsey said.
