TROY, Alabama – Troy junior Fátima Fernández Cano has earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Regional field as an individual; she will play at the NCAA East Regional which will be held at the Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club in Birmingham, Ala.
The NCAA East Regional runs May 5-7 with 18 teams and six individuals. The top six teams and top three individuals (not on qualifying teams) will advance to the NCAA Championship.
"Fátima put together an impressive resume this season and there was not doubt in my mind that she would earn an at-large bid into Regionals," Troy head coach Bart Barnes said.
