Roman Buchanan has moved from the secondary to a linebacker spot for South Alabama.
“I was pretty angry. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. I was hot,” Buchanan said. “All of a sudden a new guy (co-defensive coordinator Kane Wommack) who you don’t even know who he is from Adam comes in and tells you he’s completely changing your world, upside-down, you’re going to be upset. It took me awhile to get over it, I guess you could say.”
The 2015 second-team all-Sun Belt selection, though, has since embraced the move, completing spring drills as the Jaguars’ newest weakside linebacker.
