TROY, Ala. -- Sophomore defender Kate Eubanks was named a second team All-Southeast Region selection, the United Soccer Coaches Association announced Monday. The defender is Troy's first United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection since Alissa Jones and Mikki Lewis earned the recognition back in 2014.
"The honor is a result of Kate's hard work," head coach Ged O'Connor said. "I think this honor is also a testament to our performance this season. We only lost three matches all year, which shows a lot of stability in your backline. Kate was one the driving forces behind our success defensively.
