The ESPN broadcast of Coastal Carolina vs. Troy football on Saturday had no audio at the start of the game.
The audio arrived with about 12 minutes left in the first quarter, and Coastal Carolina already led 7-0 at that point. There was no acknowledgment of the audio issues.
Viewers could hear commercials and the sound affects included with graphics, but there was no audio from the game or broadcasters.
The game aired on ESPN+, which is the ESPN online-only subscription service.
People trying to watch the Sun Belt Conference contest were not happy.
