“I worked a lot on one, conditioning, and two, the way I breathe – like when I’m supposed to catch my breath and when I’m supposed to drive and do what I need to,” Douglas said of his offseason work.
Last year, Douglas managed 21 catches for 172 yards and no scores as a true freshman out of Bob Jones High in Madison. In two games this season, Douglas has registered a whopping 18 catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns – both against then-No. 2 Clemson.
Douglas, a late signee last summer, said he allowed the stress of adjusting to FBS football hinder his breathing, and subsequently, his performance.
