DeMarcus Ware to have surgery on fractured forearm

Denver Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday after breaking the ulna of his right arm during an NFL game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Denver coach Gary Kubiak announced at his Monday press conference that Ware would have surgery. The Broncos expect Ware to miss four or five weeks.

"We know that we're going to get him back, so that's very encouraging," Kubiak said.

Ware suffered the injury in the second half of Denver's 34-20 victory over the Colts when he collided with teammate Von Miller while chasing quarterback Andrew Luck.
