The former Daleville High and Troy Trojan running back signed a priority free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers Saturday following the conclusion of the 2016 NFL Draft. Even though he now has the chance to make the Packers’ 53-man roster and call the “frozen tundra” of Lambeau Field home, Burks said he wouldn’t be star-struck by the idea of playing there.
“I’m gonna treat it the same way,” he said. “I’m just going to use the same worth ethic that started this all.”
Burks thought he may get his name called in the draft.
