TROY, Ala. – Following a two-week hiatus, the Troy men's and women's cross country teams are locked in and ready for the Sun Belt Championships in Foley, Ala. The women's 5k trek will kick off at 4 p.m. from the Graham Creek Nature Preserve, with the men's 8k to follow at 5 p.m.
Initially scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, inclement weather in the forecast moved the championships up a day and will now be on Friday, Oct.28.
The women enter the conference championships after coming off their third top-ten finish of the season in the Blazer Classic as Tanner Guest paced the Trojans for the second time this year, placing in 19th in the women's 6k with a time of 22:32.
