Mobile, Ala. – The Troy men's and women's team both secured second place at the Azalea City Classic at the Brookley Field Golf Course on Friday evening.
The men's team tallied 42 points, finishing behind the host and winners of the Classic, South Alabama (29) in the eight-team field. The women's team earned their second consecutive second-place finish in as many weeks, tallying 44 points. South Alabama also took home the women's title with 27 points out of the seven teams.
Senior Brackin Stewart won the eight-kilometer race, marking his second individual victory as Stewart won the JSU Struts Season Opener 5k race to open the season last week.
