CONWAY, S.C. — With 30 seconds left, Coastal Carolina's CJ Marable was able to find the end zone on a 3-yard touchdown run. The Chanticleers looked at the scoreboard, 35-34 and figured they'd go for the win.
And the win they would get. Two plays later. Yes, two.
Troy held strong on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt by Coastal Carolina, forcing an incomplete pass and assuming they were going to go home with a last second victory on the road.
However, the worse thing that could happen did: laundry lay on the field. A pass interference was called on Troy, and the Chanticleers would get another shot at triumph.
