Clemson and LSU will meet in football for the first time in the regular season in home-and-home games in 2025 and 2026, Clemson announced Wednesday.
Clemson will host LSU to begin the 2025 season, then travel to Baton Rouge on Sept. 5, 2026. In addition, Clemson will host Troy on Sept. 6, 2025, the week after it takes on LSU.
Clemson and LSU -- both Tigers and both of which call their home fields "Death Valley" -- have met only three times in football, all in bowl games. LSU beat Clemson 7-0 in the 1959 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans to cap a national championship season.
