TROY, Alabama – The nation's No. 32 ranked player, Clayton Vannoy, has been named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.
Vannoy is off to a remarkable start to the season for Troy as he has played six of his nine rounds under par this year. The senior from Pensacola, Fla., leads the Trojans with a 70.78 stroke average and with a pair of top-10 finishes.
One of those top-10 finishes came last week as he tied for third place at the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic with a 7-under 209.
