MOBILE — Troy running back Jordan Chunn took one school record for himself, but he fell short of another.
Chunn’s three touchdown runs in the Trojans’ 28-23 win over Ohio in Friday’s Dollar General Bowl left him alone at the top of the school’s rushing touchdown list.
The junior mustered just 56 yards rushing to fall well short of reaching Troy’s single-season rushing record.
“This is good enough for me,” Chunn said while celebrating the win. “The win is the main thing.”
Chunn had touchdown runs of 1, 3 and 4 yards. With one year to go, Chunn has 37 career rushing touchdowns, the most in school history.
