TROY, Alabama – Chip Lindsey, one of the nation's top innovative offensive minds, has been named Troy University's 22ndhead football coach, Senior Vice Chancellor for Athletics Jeremy McClain announced Thursday afternoon.
A press conference to introduce Lindsey will take place Friday at 11 a.m. in the Stadium Club of Veterans Memorial Stadium; the press conference will be open to the public and will be streamed live on Facebook (TroyAthletics) and Twitter (TroyTrojansFB).
"I am excited to welcome Chip and his family back home to Troy to continue our standing as one of the premier Group of Five programs in the nation," McClain said.
