Cajuns Score Late to Down Troy in Finale

TROY, Ala. – Louisiana's Hayden Cantrelle picked up a two-out RBI in the top of the ninth to pull the Cajuns ahead of Troy, 4-3, in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field in Sun Belt Conference action.

The Trojans (13-14, 3-6) and Cajuns (13-16, 4-5) were locked in a pitchers' duel for most of the game, as both starting pitchers were effective in their respective outings. Troy's Grant Stewart allowed two runs on four hits and fanned six through six innings for a quality start; while Louisiana's Jack Burk dealt five innings and scattered five hits around four strikeouts and allowed one unearned run.
