TROY — His players have noticed a difference. Whether that’s because they’re more familiar with their head coach now than a year ago, or because their coach has changed, is a matter for debate.
Troy coach Neal Brown’s full-throttle approach when he was a rookie last season forced the Trojans to adjust.
This season, the players see the same energy and drive, with a spit of polish mixed in.
There are a few more smiles in practice, though the perfectionist remains.
“I think he’s more comfortable,” junior quarterback Brandon Silvers said. “The first time doing something is always new.
